Match-ups That Matter: Bears at Texans

| September 8th, 2016

Houston is a difficult opponent for the 2016 Chicago Bears, at least as we understand this Bears team to be constructed. If the Bears are going to open with a road victory, one would think the following are areas where they’d need to be successful.

Administrative Note: There will be no more long-winded game previews this season. Instead Thursdays will be used to isolate a noteworthy match-up or two for the coming weekend and Friday will be completely devoted to the return of DaBearsBlog’s Weekend Show. The game prediction will be part of that show.

HOUSTON RECEIVERS

VS.

BEARS SECONDARY

  • DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the sport and there is nobody in the Bears secondary who can match up with him one-on-one. If the Bears don’t get to Brock Osweiler, Hopkins will find holes down the field and end up with a double-digit catch, triple-digit yardage afternoon.
  • Brock Osweiler received mixed reviews this summer in Houston but one can’t overstate the pressure he’ll be facing in his debut in front of the home crowd. The guy is being paid a zillion dollars off eight okay performances for a stacked roster. The Texans believe they were a quarterback away from title contention a year ago and paid Osweiler to take them to the promised land. Is he any good? Nobody really knows. But there’s two ways the Bears can shake him early: (a) pick off a pass in the first quarter or (b) don’t allow him easy completions early to allow him to settle into a rhythm.
  • Will Fuller is good. Bears better hope he doesn’t announce his presence in the NFL Sunday.

  • The Bears can survive Osweiler getting the ball out of his hands quickly and trying to mount 10, 12 play drives to put sevens on the board. This is a defense built to succeed in the red zone. If the Pernell McPhee-less pass rush doesn’t get home and allows the Texans passing game to grab huge chunks of yardage, Bears will need 30+ points to win.

HOUSTON PASS RUSH

VS.

BEARS EDGE BLOCKERS

  • Is there really any reason to write about J.J. Watt anymore?
  • Expect Romeo Crennel to dial up some complicated blitzes, especially up the middle of the Bears defense. The Texans have talent along the edge (Watt, a healthy Clowney) so there’s little need to supplement that attack. Expect Romeo to attack Larsen or Whitehair, who’d be making his first start at center, and Sitton, making his first start on short notice in a new offense. His goal will be simple: make the Bears’ weakest offensive position group uncomfortable.
  • If the Bears have to keep tight ends on the edge to block it will greatly limit what they can do down the field. And if the Bears can’t test the backend of the Texans defense, they’ll be kicking field goals all afternoon.

    First!
    24-14 BEARS!

    • DaBearsBlog

I like this score. I don’t know why but I may steal it.

      • Huge Bear’s Penis

go for it. don’t worry about crediting me in any articles.

        • Scharfinator

The quoting process would be prickly.

          • Bender McLugh

I see what you did there lol

        • EnderWiggin

          Like a modern day oracle:
Jeff came up with this number from the huge bears penis…

          • Huge Bears Penis

Does Jeff still do a radio spot? I would love for him to credit me on air.

          • EnderWiggin

HE does! But fro some cockamimi reason, he never post the .wav file anymore.

          • Huge Bears Penis

That sucks I enjoyed listening most the time.

    • Irish Sweetness

I honestly don’t see them scoring any offensive touchdowns if things works out defensively for us.
Chicago has its Defensive coming-out party in Houston for me.

I like the 24 though. One for Jordan, AJ and Kevin each. Conor Barth screws a 37 yarder just inside the left post. Two field goals for the Texans. We’re a great bet straight up at 11/5.

      • Huge Bears Penis

I don’t trust our secondary enough to say Houston will not score any offensive TDs.

      • chitownproud85

“I honestly don’t see them scoring any offensive touchdowns if things works out defensively for us.”

The last example(2015) was 24.8ppg, 20th in scoring for the year. J Free and Danny T made our defense impossible to score touchdowns against, eh?

    • chitownproud85

I like 20-14. Eh. 20-17 better. I dont expect Houston and Brosweiler to be able to put up numbers, but I think Houston will pick up a TD off a turnover. I think Bears O “surprises” with big plays(Alshon/K White/Zach all ready to go, at the same time, in the same game!!!) and “steals” it in the 4th with a late field goal. Close game, but 75% JJ Watt doesnt make a team, and the Bears are the perfect example of a bulletin board team that will be overlooked by opponents thanks to the underwhelming opinion of the masses. Reminds me a little of Fortes rookie year when the Bears were set to be the sacrificial lambs for the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium…and then the boys in burnt orange and navy blue dropped a deuce on their housewarming party. BEAR DOWN!

      20-17!

    Nothing? Nada. Zilch?

This article all but calls Fox undisciplined and uncaring. A guy who mails it in. Soft. Lost his passion for the game and is just coasting until somebody figures out he has no more fucks to give.

    http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/page/enterprise-Elway160907/denver-broncos-gm-john-elway-drive-never-end

    • PaceBot 2000

haha, that’s not the case though. Just because he’s not a follower of the Jim Harbaugh school of being a huge fucking whiny turd bitch doesn’t mean he doesn’t care.
That article paints Elway as borderline fucking psychotic and Fox is mentioned in about 2 sentences.

    • Irish Sweetness

We still have to figure out why Elway tossed him because he was missing something, and he found that something in Kubiak. Elway didn’t believe Fox could win it all.

      • DaBearsBlog

Because they hated each other and fundamentally disagreed with how to build a winning franchise. Then Elway won a title with no offense and Fox’s defense. Ask Buck Showater. It happens.

        • Irish Sweetness

Is Elway then not justified though? Would Fox have won it the next season anyway? We’ll never know. Have to get to the playoffs first anyway.

          • DaBearsBlog

Definitely justified. He won a title. Is Kubiak a better coach than Fox? I don’t think so. But the change worked. Partly because they brought Wade in and I think Wade is the best defensive mind in football outside Belichick.

          • Irish Sweetness

            Broncos or Panthers?

          • SC Dave

Agreed. The simple fact is that Fox got canned, and the Broncos immediately won a championship.

Causation or correlation? Best application ever of:

            DON’T CAAAARE!

          • Scharfinator

Depends on the amount of studs on the team… if he did it with this team I’d be amazed.

          • Sauron’s right eyeball

How many coaching staffs come in and win a title the next year? Don’t think it’s justified because the odds of any staff accomplishing that on their own merrit no matter how good they are would be next to nil. It just doesn’t happen. Lets see what happens this year. This is like saying Barry Switzer was a genius.

          • willbest

Half of the Bronco’s elite defense were mercs. They weren’t coached up. Wade just utilized them better. And building a defense was a no brainer after Manning lost his nerve and embarrassed them in the SB.

          • John Gruden came to TB and won a title with Tony Dungy’s team. Does that make Gruden a better coach?

Nope. TB got worse the longer Gruden was there, while Dungy went on to win in IND.

          • chitownproud85

            Logic!

          • Sauron’s right eyeball

The NFL decided the Bronco’s were going to win the Super Bowl last year. Got it? Uh huh…that’s what I believe.

    • Big Mike

      Elway’s a douche.

  • Irish Sweetness

If Whitehair is at Center we lose. Period. The dude is not a Center. Larsen can at least do the job, Kush is a great-looking run-blocker at least and I know the Rams were sorry to see him go. Word on him is he’s a better guard – that could free us up to put Sitton in at Center. I’d start Larsen at Center, put Sitton at LG and let Whitehair sit, watch … and learn the playbook.

Hopefully Hall and Glenn have fun off the back of that front 7. They should stuff Miller all day and force Broccoli into bad situations for ball hawks like our CBs.

If JJ Watt isn’t right then run it at him all day long with Jordan Howard.

We can run it at them. Sitton, Kush, both good at run-blocking, but they’re not putting a noob Bear in at Center. But if Whitehair is our Center I don’t see how we can pass it against them.

Brockweiler is a schmuck, and if Fangio doesn’t blitz the shit out of him .. .a pie in the face of Vic Fangio. We have press corners now. We can cover guys one to one now. Blitz the fucker. And I hope Floyd has a great day out and does something special in pass pro.

    Can’t wait.

    • DaBearsBlog

You really need to stop overrating Whitehair having two bad shotgun snaps. Bears LOVE Cody at center.

      • Irish Sweetness

Good to hear. But Larsen is surely better for the job at this point, Sitton has to start given his salary … so Whitehair is the odd man out?

        • SC Dave

Are you Emery, insisting someone start because of his salary?

You insist on starting Sitton while at the same time demanding Whitehall sit to “read the playbook”? Certainly you CAN’T be serious?

          • Huge Bears Penis

makes sense to me. Sitton should be able to absorb the playbook and all blocking responsibilities in a couple days. Whitehair is a rookie and has only been studying the playbook since he was drafted, might as well have him study some more.

          • Big Mike

Why, so the bears can win against houston?

          • Irish Sweetness

That’s what teams do. They’re not sitting down Sitton on 7M a year. Cody’s young, he’s different.

          • SC Dave

You said “has to start”, which I took as indication you consider it justified to start players based on salary.

What you’re implying to me here is “will start” based on salary. Different statement, and one I’d just let go as a likely truism.

      • willbest

Robbie got canned over two bad kicks in the preseason.

    • Big Mike

You really don’t know that about Whitehair. He’s a rookie. He’s extremely talented. One of the best lineman in the draft..

      • willbest

9 lineman taken before him. And the Bears passed on him twice in the 2nd round. Not saying that he is a pile of garbage, he did go in the second, but there were fewer concern about Myles Jack and his knee is projected to fall off in 2 years.

        • Big Mike

So we’re only dealing with opinions here, but I know quite a bit about o-lineman. Playing, coaching, scouting, recruiting etc. Whitehair was a steal. Whether it translates, we won’t know for a while. What i’m telling you is that you should be very happy the Bears have him. I don’t care how many were taken in front of him. Most of those were tackles. A few of those were reaches. A couple were tackles that are going to get moved inside. Whitehair is a guard, who was also his teams best lineman and he got kicked outside to play RT and LT.

    • MB30SD

Jesus Irish. We have zero clue what this team will look like and play like by game 4.

Making hard declarations about anything is just silly.

      • Sauron’s right eyeball

It’s called tunnel vision. die hunger!!!

        • GPLDAN

          Sauron only has one eye.

      • willbest

I think it is insane to believe Whitehair is going to be better than Larsen at Center before week 4. Grasu wasn’t better than Slauson. And I know Whitehair is projected to be quite a bit better than Grasu, but history is not all that kind to rookie Centers that aren’t playing in front of HoF QBs.

        • MB30SD

You immediately loose me (and all cresibility) when your first sentence says we’re going to lose because of one guy. Smh.

          • SC Dave

You, and many others, have said we lost games because of one guy.

          • GPLDAN

            Cutler

          • SC Dave

            Among others

          • willbest

We lost a whole fucking season because 6 had to chase down his own pick-6. 7-3… everything going right… da hell.

          • Huge Bears Penis

there is a difference between we lost (past tense) and are going to lose because of one player. Not sure about the others but even as much as I did not have faith in one player, I never assumed he would be the cause of a loss before a game is even played. Now after a game is over and it is apparent that let’s say a kicker misses a key FG or two, you can easily blame that loss on the kicker.

          • MB30SD

The apparent total loss if logic in place of silly emotion seems to run rampant on this board. Sigh

          • CanadaBear

Dave I totally get your point but it’s pretty universal if the QB has a bad game, he lost it for them. If a kicker misses a makable FG and they lose, he lost it for them. If a RB fumbles and the other team recovers and wins, he lost it for them. We both know that isn’t true but it’s pretty standard MO for most football fans.

          • MB30SD

he’s just trolling me canada. he’s a smart guy.

          • willbest

            You failed reading comprehension.

          • MB30SD

“If Whitehair is at Center we lose. Period.”

            Uuuummmmm, whad I miss professor?

          • willbest

You attributed a position to me that I did not state. There is zero chance Whitehair is better than Larsen at center right now. You are not putting your best team forward if Whitehair is out there at center. If its even a possibility that Whitehair is better than Larsen, Larsen shouldn’t even be on the roster.

However, not putting your best team forward does not equate with “we will lose”

          • SC Dave

Of course, you did say “going to lose”…

          • MB30SD

If Whitehair is at Center we lose. Period.

I didn’t say anything except that the statement above is silly.

Am i going fucking crazy today or are you and will just trolling me?!?!

          • SC Dave

I was ceding a point… i.e. that you were complaining Irish said we were “going to lose”, i.e. future tense.

          • Irish Sweetness

Well it’s fairer to say that the offense would be seriously hindered as a well-oiled mechanical unit, if there’s a momo at Center/ By momo I mean not au fait with either the position or requirements to perform the task. Larsen is clearly the better choice right now .. .and the draft pick can play the position he plays.

            Howzat?

          • MB30SD

little better, but momo?! Dude better not be a fucking momo since he was our 2nd round pick maings.

    • Johnnywad

Kush is on his sixth NFL team at 26 years old. He has played in five NFL games while starting just one of the five in three seasons. If we’re counting on him to do anything better than Whitehair, all is lost.

      • Irish Sweetness

We’re not. Larsen hasn’t been terrible at it, and Sitton can probably do it.

        • Johnnywad

I really doubt Sitton moves to C barring a long list of injuries.

          • Irish Sweetness

They’re really going to pay Sitton 7M a year to sit on the bench?

          • Johnnywad

No. They’re paying him to continue kicking ass at Guard. Center will be Larsen for a sec, then Whitehair most likely.

  • AlbertInTucson

“….they’ll be kicking field goals all afternoon.”

    ATTEMPTING…all afternoon.

    New kicker. Expectations are low.

    • Huge Bears Penis

Expectations were low with the old kicker too.

      • MB30SD

        Very low

        • MB30SD

          like under the crossbar low

(see how I did that dave?)

    • CanadaBear

He’s money inside the 30 yd line. Doesn’t that make you feel all squishy?

      • AlbertInTucson

“Never attempted a kick in Soldier Field” certainly concerns me down the line.

        • Huge Bears Penis

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!! How did we ever move on from the very first kicker the Bears ever had? I truly believe if it was up to several of you guys on here we would have Butler still trying to kick FGs. #geriatrickicker #85bears

          • CanadaBear

It’s because we are old and remember a million kickers that couldn’t get it done (for both teams). I can’t speak for Al but I’m not pissed they let Robbie go, I’m pissed they replaced him with such a stiff.

          • AlbertInTucson

Relax. It’s a legit concern. We’ve seen lots of kickers who are “money” anyplace else come in to Soldier Field and get totally psyched out.

  • TBC

I’m very amused that Andrew criticized Pompei’s article as “so poorly written”.

This dude literally used to put posts on here where he wrote identical sentences that were 2-3 paragraphs apart.

If the Beloved don’t get after Osweiller it’s going to be a REALLY long day. I’m guessing Hopkins has at least 2 TD’s (including a long one) and the Bears O adds up to a cloud of dust and 3 FG’S from inside the 30 yd line.

  • BillW

I’m very excited for this game. Surprisingly so. I thought this was going to be purely another rebuilding year, and I had little idea of what the Bears are now and what they will become.

Then I read many of the threads here. I realized the expectations for the defense are higher than mine were. I love defense – a trait I inherited from my Dad and uncle.

Fangio I’m sure has been hiding a lot and I suspect we’ll see a lot of pressure. I won’t be surprised if we have 5 or more sacks. If that happens, I think we win.

And jump 10 spots in everyone’s uninformed meaningless ridiculous ignorant stupid waste of cyberspace rankings.

Offensively I don’t have any idea what to expect. Work in progress given last minute line changes. Hopefully Doyle Lonnegan protects Cutler with some rollouts.

Seems to be disagreement on Larson vs Whitehair at C. My thinking is IF he’s now our center, he should play there now. We’re not SB contenders yet. His development is more important and being on the road perhaps puts less pressure on him. If he is the solution there, we are SB contenders next year.

    Bear down!

    • Huge Bears Penis

have you been medicated? are you taking some happy pills?

      • BillW

Football season! Best drug I’ve ever found (not that I’ve tried too many, but…)

        • CanadaBear

Gotta give ya credit Bill. You’ve taken a lot of bad trips on The Bears and you keep coming back for more. That’s dedication. Timothy Leary would be proud!

    • Irish Sweetness

      Welcome back Bill.

I hope to see Hroniss out there next year, with a bench full of decent guards around him.

      • Johnnywad

You may currently have the best guard tandem in the league.

        • Irish Sweetness

          Sitton and Long?

          • Bender McLugh

            yarp

  • I still say the game boils down to which team runs the ball better. Both teams have an offense that wants to establish the run first and foremost. The team that accomplishes that goal better wins.

    • BearDown100393

Any thoughts regarding Jeremy Langford’s big splash as the starting RB?

      • BillW

Good question. I wonder if Houston concentrates on shutting down the run. Big game for our OC, whose actual name I can never remember. Doyle Lonnegan? Daryl Logan? You guys have a nickname for him – can’t remember that either.

        • GPLDAN

            (Nathan Lane, that is.)

          • willbest

I will learn his name when he does something worth remembering. That is what I tell the kids I coach. j/k

          Nathan Lane #BirdCage

      • Irish Sweetness

I think Jordan becomes our de facto #1 through yardage and touchdowns. Dude can catch it too. I’m pumped to see what he does behind that line.

        • I just don’t see it.

I think Howard’s gonna be buried in the depth chart this first year. Fox is conservative, and when games matter, he’s riding Langford or even Carey.

Coaches always pucker up on game day. Well, except Pete and Bill.

      • has more to do with the OL than the RBs, IMO.

I can’t even smoke a whole one these days. The stuff these days is incredibly potent. Not to mention we have dispensaries in town that sell to anyone (if you’re 18 or older). It’s a crazy world.

I am grateful that my wife agreed to keep DirecTV through the end of the year so I can watch the beloved in HD, on my couch, in my undies, with “free” alcohol, and no worries on trying to find a non-laggy stream or screaming my way into a fisticuffs at the local non-Bears friendly watering hole.

May we see a winning record and may the Cutty reign supreme.

AND MAY WE NOT GET SHUT THE FUCK OUT AGAIN FUCK THAT STILL STINGS.

    9-7.

of course sir! I took a break for a few months because of some posters who make me want to fucking take a warm bath with some sharp razor blades, but fuck it.

You back? Come back to us maings. Btw, someone (ender?) posted the new De La the other day, check it yet? Pretty dope.

Why would anybody think Cutler won’t be the QB next year? The Pace-Brees connection is now dead.

    2017 QB FA class

    Kirk Cousin
    Ryan Fitzpatrick
    Blaine Gabbart
    EJ Manuel
    Mark Sanchez
    Matt Cassel
    Geno Smith
    Ryan Mallet
    Mike Glennon
    Christian Ponder

Reading that list made me shudder.

I left off Shaun Hill and Matt Schuab because I thought it would be too dark otherwise.

Get ready to add Goff to next year’s list

    • Cousins I wouldn’t mind.
Glennon? He hasn’t shown that he totally sucks yet.

In the HK finale, Kush BLOWS his read and gets his QB killed. I mean KILLED.

The Rams asst (Fisher has him some lame ass assistants) says Kush is much better suited to G than C. If Whitehair goes down, I think they would look at Sitton to take C and put Kush out there at LG.

I also think Long with his bum shoulder and Massie vs. Watt will be a helluva trench battle. And Whitehair v. Wilfork? OMFG.

Some trial by fire on Sunday.

  • BearDown100393

Cutler doesn’t need a “great year” to return next season. Anything above “stunk” locks him in.

So my buddy calls me the other day to tell me he locked his keys in his car for the 2nd time in a week. I tell him, one day when I die, they’re going to harvest my brain and sell it. Unfortunately they’ll only get 1 dollar for it. However, if he should die they could get about 5 million for it. To which he replied, why would his brain be more valuable than mine? To which I replied, his is brand new, it’s never been used. And that’s when the penny dropped.

On the 15th anniversary of 9/11, you really gotta leave it to Florida to come up with the most tasteless display of patriotism.

    • Brilliant. Those twin towers of beers will never be toppled cuz Muslims won’t go down the alcohol aisle!

  • BillW

Irish commented below (or above depending on how you sort) that he’d like to see Hroniss at cener.

Which makes me wonder what the blog’s opinion is/was on the injury. Bad luck, bad field, or perhaps related to him putting on weight that he couldn’t handle.

I’m not sure what the success rate is for picking players that need to be physically modified in order to fit well. Gain or lose weight, need more strength in one part of the body, need to be quicker etc.

Will Floyd turn out the same? I know other teams wanted him so I don’t criticize the pick, but I hate it when there are doubts about a high draft choice. Then again, people thought Long was a reach. And that AJ Hawk was a sure thing (I wanted him to fall to the Bears.)

I guess there are no sure things. I hope the coaches can make Hroniss and Floyd the stars we want them to be.

    • Grasu’s inj DEF had to do with his weight. Couldn’t have helped, and we all knew this. You can put more muscle on but last time I checked your knees and such don’t grow like the Hulk.

I never got Grasu pick. Think he’s soft. Skinny. Weak, and now inj.

I’m thrilled we got Sitton cuz now that means Grasu won’t get handed anything, and my prediction is he remains a backup, where he should be.

As for Floyd, 2nd verse same as 1st.

Too skinny. Not sure he can even put/keep on weight, and even if he does, how will that effect his speed and explosion?

Personally, I think the #1 attribute a pass rusher must have is explosion and/or strong hands to jolt the blocker.

I don’t really see either in Floyd, not elite level at least.

And like I said before, name me a 6’6 230 stud pass rusher.

Players fit in either the Miller (burst/bend) or Watt (hands/jolt) mode , and Floyd doesn’t project as either IMO.

      He’s a…dare I say..Hybrid.

And we as Bear fans know how that script usually turns out.

      Hope I’m wrong.

  • ah, ok. I liked the long-winded game previews.

    • CanadaBear

      Long-winded = more work

      • haha. I’m long-winded, so maybe that’s why.

I guess I’m a whore for details and insight.

I’ll be reposting Evan Silva’s game previews which are very “long-winded”

        • CanadaBear

Most of us wade through a million posts on the blog. I don’t think most of us were clamoring for shorter game previews. Oh well. Different strokes. I never liked the Rev’s rants but I know a lot of guys did. No biggie, just pass on by. Thanks for posting Evan Silva’s game previews.

  • “If the Bears have to keep tight ends on the edge to block it will
greatly limit what they can do down the field.” =- Jeffy

Normally, I would agree. But White and Alshon going deep is no joke.

    • EnderWiggin

He also overlooked the signing of Paulsen. The double white tight end duo should have the right amount of blocking and finesse to give Houston LBs some trouble in the run and passing game.

      • Yeah, that move is overlooked, but I like Paulsen as a blocking TE.

I wanted Graham from Cards for same reason, though Graham provides a lil more upside in passing game.

        I can’t stand Hbacks, personally.

  • So, blog poll b4 season offically kicks off tonight.

Which Bear has best shot at making PB ?
(or AP, if you’re already drunk at noon)

    -Amos
    -Goldman
    -Langford
    -Young
    -Trevathan
    -White
    -Miller
    -Leno

    • Captain Obvious

      Goldman.

White gets Rookie of the Year, Redshirt Edition.

      • GPLDAN

        I agree, it’s Goldman

    • Huge Bears Penis

      BRAVERMAN!!!!

      • Arby’s is gonna first have to make the 53 man roster, then crack the starting lineup.

        Also, try the brisket

        • Huge Bears Penis

Fine then i would go with Goldman.

    • EnderWiggin

I’d say Langford and Goldman both have a shot if they can take the leap forward that we are predicting.
Of course, Langford’s shot will be dependent on Petersons health/age.

    • Sauron’s right eyeball

      Trevathan

    • I’m gonna go Langford.

On a side note, we must start the most 2nd year players in the NFL.

    • CanadaBear

Goldman for me. He was really good last year and that article about taking nutrition seriously and still weighing 330 really got my attention. I would be thrilled for any of them.

  • PaceBot 2000
    • EnderWiggin

So why in the heck can’t teams use the word ‘probable’ anymore?
I guess reports weren’t vague enough before.

      • I told u. It’s gonna be ANNOYING.

Supposedly the logic was that probably meant like 96% chance to start, which they deemed somehow useless.

But that’s the whole point of a P vs Q.

        I don’t get it.

        • PaceBot 2000

being limited in practice means you didn’t do shit. Not doing shit because your hamstring hurts makes it less likely you’ll be running go routes and being awesome and shit.

    • EnderWiggin

Hmm, so Bennett over Miller for my fantasy team?

      • That’s the thing.

Pats play sun night, so you won’t know likely till game time, unless you’re willing to be ok with emergency TE Darren Fells or something.

  • ugh. I know it’s irrational but the constant Pack blowjobs piss me off.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/08/pfts-2016-season-predictions/

Here’s my prediction of the Puke.

That Oline will suck. Vadgers will begin running for his life again, and finding no one cuz Jordy is still rusty or limping. He’ll whine about playcalling. McFatty will whine about not having FAs or letting go of AP OGs.

Fat Eddy says he lost 20 pounds, but the thing about fat ppl – they always go back to being fat unless they had the lapband.

He’ll become fat again wk5. Starks will take his reps, and look like Starks.

Their D won’t be able to stop the run cuz they still don’t have ILBs.

All this being said, they’ll somehow make the WC, but get ceremonially embarrassed for 5 years straight or something cuz they’re soft and ill-coached.
