Two things I gathered from Poles today.
1. You don’t openly discuss trading Fields the way he just did if you’re not trading Fields. Seems a certainty.
2. Still think it would take something historic for Poles to bail on first pick. But I can’t see him dropping further than 2. https://t.co/aZyqJfRrPp

Coach Eberflus echoed the same sentiment Poles had from earlier — “As soon as we know, we’re going to [do right by Justin]”.

We’ll see where things go, but after one day’s rumors things seem to be leaning heavily in one direction…
I don’t think the Bears will trade the pick and Caleb Williams is -1600 to go first. Seems pretty clear where things are heading.
