• First in catch rate, right? Go Zach!

It was a catch and a TD, no doubt.

If Teddy can come back, so can you. If not, take the $ live the dream!

    P.S. Puke suck.

  • Dis Guy Trublinsky

If I was going to bet on an NFL game, it’d be the Monday Nighter. I don’t see how the Fudge can win that game. And there’d be nothing sweeter than winning money whilst they lose to a Lions team in the middle of Lionsing.

HOWEVER, it is the Lions. So the money stays home.

    • CanadaBear

I think the Loins will snap out of it and put a beating on the Fudgies. Of course, I never bet so there’s that.

      • Dis Guy Trublinsky

I can’t make heads or tails of the Lions this year. Before the season started, I thought they’d suck balls. Then they looked like a football team for a bit. Then they went back to sucking balls.

But they should get some traction against that Packers D and the the Hundley led O will likely be a joke the rest of the season. Works for me. Fuck’em.

Most arrogant group of fans I know aside from the handful of stray Patriots people in my area.

        • CanadaBear

I used to think the Queens fans were the worst until the Loins made the playoffs. Holy Crap were they bad. Popping off like the Loins were the Pats or something. Not sticking up for Fudgie fans. They are delusional. They think it’s their divine right to have a HOF QB at all times. NTM, they routinely brag about how good their team is when it’s pretty much a one-man band.

          • madscout12

The only question is how long til the next Packer QB. I, for one, am ready for that day when the Packers become the Browns.

    • BerwynBomber

Yeah, I wouldn’t bet on it.

I’m certain the Cheese are a one-man band but this seems like a game they could win w/out Rodgers. MNF. Lambeau crowd. Coming off a bye. Etc.

Plus, it looks like the Cheese discovered a RB in the fifth round of last year’s draft.

And as you said … Lions.

    • BearDown100393

The Packers may not win but the Lions are always capable of beating themselves.

  • Juan Stone

Football without the Bears ain’t football. Just sayin…

Very good write up by Morrissey

    https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/nfl-anthem-kaepernick-patriotism-mcnair/

“The league likes patriotism as an ideal, not as a discussion”

“Don’t waste your time trying to tell them that the anthem isn’t the property of veterans or active military personnel. Or that the freedom to protest is one of the blessings of democracy. They have a finger in each ear.”

  • It’s all part of the plan

Did you see Cam Newton adjusting his chain perfectly as he walked off the field after a failed 3rd down conversion?

  • It’s all part of the plan

I remember when i mentioned Keanu Neal as a 1st Rd safety and someone told me he was a 5th rounder. Haha, good times.

    • Juan Stone

If only I had your luck and GP’s brilliance. Sweet tomatu!

  • BearDown100393

I want Mitch on the growth rate of Wentz.

    • Wentz played in an NFL type O in college for 4 yrs, and now has 1+ season of REAL coaching.

Trub has 13 games of shotgun Tar Heel O and half a season of Fox.

Doubt he looks as good as Wentz next season.

      Goff would be more realistic.

    • BerwynBomber

Good luck with that. I’ll be happy if Bisky has Wentz’s command of an O after 4-5 years.

  • SC Dave

So what the hell happened to the Rams?

    • BearDown100393

They moved to LA, shed 7-9 coaching and got the right people to work with Goff.

Other than relocating, it is an admirable model for the Bears to follow.

      Adios Fox and Birdcage.

      • madscout12

Only thing is, who is that guy this year? I don’t see anybody.

        • SC Dave

          Exactly. Need a replacement first.

          • If we follow their blueprint – some hot shot OC as HC while we keep Fangio for DC.

Who is that hot shot OC?

            That’s a good question.

McDaniels is always in the mix.
Jim Bob Cooter was an early season fav, but now?
            Eagle’s OC?
            Sean Payton?

It might come down to what type of O Pace wants to run.

Does he wanna turn Trub into a Daq with some zone reads-shotguns?
Does he wanna keep the Shanny zone run bootleg O?
Does he want a more WCO, or a Norv Turner O?

          • madscout12

Believe it or not, I was looking at the Jets OC, John Morton. The talent he has has overperformed IMO…but I want to see game tape. I want to see how he keeps that O moving, or tries to keep it moving, or if the highlights are all just him running exotic screens and chucking it deep.

          • They have been squeezing a lot from that O talent.

McCown is a borderline backup QB.

They have a mishmash at HB.

I doubt anyone can name their #1WR.

The main thing about co-ordinators is that they must also have the temperament to be good HCs. And that’s usually the part casual fans aren’t privy to.

Don’t need another Trestman, that’s for sure.

          • madscout12

Yeah, we really need whoever it is to have a wide network to bring in talent around him. Not just an OC, but rather, an OC who can draw on the whole league for his OC and DC…or enough clout to keep Fangio.

The death of both Lovie and Trestman were that neither could attract the required talent on the other side of the ball. Lovie could never find an OC to bring the team to a SB winning level, and Trestman had the dumbest DC I’ve ever witnessed.

          • CanadaBear

Nessman lost the locker room. Lovie’s players were solidly behind him.

          • madscout12

Nessman doesn’t lose the locker room if they win, and they weren’t winning with that D.

Lovie couldn’t close the big one…or compete consistently. We all knew where the team was going to go when 54, 55, and 33 were gone.

The point remains. We need a coach who can consistently attract coaching talent on both sides of the ball. For all the hoopla made of hoody, that’s his real strength.

  • madscout12

Wow. Tom Savage is bad. Really bad. Like, makes you wonder how a guy who can’t hit the broad side of a Buick made it to the NFL bad.

    • BerwynBomber

      Is he Glennon bad?

      • madscout12

Difficult to say. He seems to make bad reads and be inaccurate. But he can handle a snap.

Also, in other news, Lammar Houston just scored a TD.

    • Kap is worse apparently.

  • Winston sucks. I know he’s hurt right now, but he and Luck look like TO machines who get beat up.

  • madscout12

    Lulz, Falcons.

  • EnderWiggin

    Lamarr Houston TD!

    • madscout12

And he didn’t blow a hammy while doing it!

  • BerwynBomber

ATL/CAR is fascinating in an odd sort of way. Two overrated QBs whom had freak seasons once and stole an MVP.
Cam could have been picked off a couple of times already and is inaccurate as hell.
Yet … CAR leads at the half. 14-10.
And ATL is only in this because Stewart can’t hang onto the ball.

    • EnderWiggin

I’m not sure both are overrated. They each have an MVP, but probably each deserve two. Cams throws over 10 yards are all over the place though – dude is hurt in both shoulders.

      • BerwynBomber

Please. Ryan is solid but he’s only had one outstanding year. Where are you seeing his second MVP season? Cam too?

Fuck, Cam’s career PR is Cutty’s. And Ryan’s is nearly Andy Dalton’s.

        • SC Dave

People seem to fail to recognize that Cam Newton has 51 career rushing TDs.

          • BerwynBomber

I don’t. And that makes up for a lot of his passing issues. But two MVPs? Huh???

          • SC Dave

A case could be made for 2011 along with 2015

          • BerwynBomber

            21 TDs/17 INTs, an 84 PR and a 58 QBR? Please …

          • SC Dave

800 rushing yards and 14 TD.

As I said, people discount his scoring on the ground.

            Edit; 700 yards

          • BerwynBomber

And again I don’t but that still “only” gives him a 35 TD/17 INT year, which is a Luck/Rivers-like season.

I like Cam as a fun player. And his running makes up for a lot. But it doesn’t make up enough to make him the best player in the league.

          • SC Dave

As I said, MVP is not the same as Offensive Player of the Year.

          • BerwynBomber

I still don’t see it. CAR is a D-led team. Or has been over the Cam years.

  • If Eli didn’t have two rings, he too would be benched.

  • Denver to threw in the towel for the season.

That’s what happens when you have a great D but Glennon-level QB.

    • BerwynBomber

      Semien is better than Glennon.

Semien sucks but Glennon looked like he shouldn’t be in the league.

      • Semiean is benched, like Glennon.

        Oz got the start.

        • madscout12

And he needs to start slinging it…so he can throw some picks…so my FF team can get some points.

    • CanadaBear

Philly blew that D up. I watched that game until the network decided I needed to see a more competitive game. Fuck I hate that. Anyway, Alshon dropped two quick outs and a short pass over the middle close to the LOS that he was better off dropping. Made some good catches. Wentz really is good. He caught Talib looking in the backfield on AJ’s TD and Miller was going to blow up a screen pass except Wentz saw it and immediately threw the ball to the RB for a TD. That was some REALLY quick thinking.

  • AJ Green and Ramsey thought they were in UFC. Ejected!

    • EnderWiggin

Not sure why Ramsey was ejected. I think he didn’t throw punches, and just wrapped AJ up to protect himself.

      • It’s all part of the plan

because he started the fight like a bitch

        • EnderWiggin

Before the whistle, that lil’ bitch.

          • It’s all part of the plan

he tried to punk Green by shoving him when the play was over. ramsey is a rookie. that is unacceptable and no man in his right mind would not respond to that provocation.

          • madscout12

A man who wants to stay in the game and have his team win would.

          • It’s all part of the plan

these players need to uppercut each other under the facemask or punch the throat. Green should have stomped and his neck.

    • It’s all part of the plan

      AJ Green kicked out
Fuller trying to catch passes from that white cuck Savage
Fantasy gods not loving me today.

      • DId u start Kamura? ur white HB is having a decent day.

You wanna talk about FF woes.

Both of my HBs (Bell/Howard) are on bye, so I had to roll with my #4/#5 HB (not going well)
Benjamin got traded and didn’t even suit up Thurs, so had to go with #3WR Cooper Kupp
Palmer went down, so have to use freaking McCown
And just for shits and giggles, Ertz decided to sit out today.

        It’ll be a miracle if I win.

        • madscout12

Everyone is on a bye on my team, and on the other side is Wentz and Kamara.

          My lineup right now is:
          Newton QB
          D Martin RB
          L Miller RB
          J Jones WR
          D Hopkins WR
          J Doyle TE
          A Jones W/RB
          And Eagles are my Def/K

          Yeah, I’m proper fucked.

          • I don’t know why they aren’t feeding D. Martin.

I had to use him to, and suddenly, they’re going committee with him.

            Fuck.

          • madscout12

Should teach me to trust TB.

I was always going to lose this week. His lineup:

            Wentz
            Hunt
            Kamara
            Crabtree
            Baldwin
            Engram
            Nelson
            Greg the leg
            Saints D

        • It’s all part of the plan

Ramsey tried pulling a prison bitch move as a rookie and AJ Green thought about it for a second and then just chioke slammed him.

        • SC Dave

          Should have started Forte (ducks)

    • Evans and Lattimore now in the UFC. Round 2!

  • I would love to see the Saints-Eagles duke it out in the playoffs.

    • BerwynBomber

I’d like that as the NFCC.

But I think we are heading toward PHI/SEA. Saints are scrappy and have Brees but I suspect there are still three or four NFC teams better than them.

      • SC Dave

        I’m hoping Ram – Eagles.

Except when it it Bears – whoever.

        • Rams would be awesome.

Always felt for Ram’s fans when they left L.A.

At the time, the Raiders were here, and they were treated like a red headed stepchild, but they’ve been in L.A. since the 50s.

Be cool if they make a run. Insert some new blood in the the NFC

      • willbest

Seattle isn’t superhuman. they might not even win thier division

  • BerwynBomber

Btw, going to SCD’s point below, this game has turned into good Cam. Spotty passing but almost 100 yards on the ground.

Think CAR was hoping to turn him into more of a pocket passer in the offseason but I think you let Cam be Cam. Take advantage of his running while you can.

  • SC Dave

Devin Funchess is the new #1 for Carolina, and he’s playing like one.

  • WTF was Winston doing? lol

Evans with the cheap shot on Lattimore. COMPLETELY wiped him out from the back.

    Welcome to the NFL?

    • I predict Payton’s gonna run up the score. I would.

      50 points Saints.

      • BerwynBomber

        Lattimore hurt?

        • No. Luckily.

But Evans ran full speed and hit him in the back while, for some reason, Winston was jawing at Lattimore on the sideline.

Winston isn’t even in the game.

          Evans will be suspended.
          Winston might be.

          • SC Dave

Gee maybe not (re: my last comment)

    • EnderWiggin

      I can’t believe Evans wasn’t ejaculated.

      • I know. They said that they can’t eject players from replay.
I expect that to change soon.

Evans is not small either. A 6’5 230 beast running full speed and cracking you in the back…

        • EnderWiggin

Me may finish this game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he sits the next one. That was one of the dirtiest NFL things I’ve seen in awhile.

      • Dis Guy Trublinsky

Ejaculated? During the game? That would have been nuts.

        • madscout12

          Well played.

    • SC Dave

Didn’t see it, but perhaps it was payback for something earlier. Cheapshots usually are.

  • BerwynBomber

Seems like every year we reach that “Who wants to win the AFCS” point of the season?

Can Bortles game manage? Can TEN’s D hold up?

  • EnderWiggin

I wonder if McVay keeps the Rams rolling for the next 5-10 years, or if D coordinators slow them down next year. I wouldn’t mind a fresh young offensive guru taking the reigns. I wouldn’t mind another year of Fox either, though. Guess I’m content in my lil’ Bears world for once. Weird. Is that the franchise QB effect?

    • BerwynBomber

That and the quality young D effect. Or more precisely the franchise QB hope and the trending young D confidence.

    • madscout12

Doesn’t matter. All they need to think about is making that young QB perform enough to get to a SB before they have to pay him.

    • SC Dave

More likely that we have a real defense now.

We ARE talking the Bears here. We have not had a franchise QB since Sid Luckman.

  • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

Julio Jones just did an impersonation of any Bears WR.

    • right in his breadbasket.

And for some mysterious reason, the Falcons don’t throw him TD passes. Maybe now we know why

      • SC Dave

He still had a strong game, fantasy wise.

And that’s all that matters, no?

  • This week might be the week that finally breaks the camel’s back.

    Fitzpatrick
    Oz
    Savage
    Bortles?
    Hundley?
    Browns QB

    < Kap

(and Kap isn't even all that good, the other dudes are just that turrible)

  • How is it that a 34 yr old white backup from Havad is a better runner than Winston?

    • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

      Its the beard!

  • SC Dave

One thing I will say… Joe Buck seems a little less cunty than he used to be.

    • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

Might want to get your hearing checked, he is still as cunty as ever

      • SC Dave

        Damnit. Okay.

    • madscout12

He doesn’t know what to do with himself if he can’t say, “AAAARON RODGERS!!!!!!!” every time Vadgers throws a pass.

  • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

Damn Emergency Alerts! I am trying to watch football. I really don’t care if I am going to be blasted by a storm.

  • madscout12

Seems to be the week of asswhoppin’s

    • SC Dave

Yeah… tanking, or just indication of how EVERYTHING depends ONLY on the QB now?

  • Cockney Kirk

    Texans are useless without Watson

    • They’re back to last yr with Oz.

      Heck, Savage may be worse.

      • madscout12

He didn’t turn the ball over, for the most part. But he sure was inaccurate. 9/29 until the 4th or something like that.

        • Yeah, basically until garbage time

          • madscout12

That game came down to the last play. It was anything but garbage time.

But still…he sucked til it counted. Then sucked just enough to lose.

          • Oh, I thought you meant Oz, not Savage.

            both suck.

    • BuddhaJoe

They lost Watt and Mercillus too, so it ain’t that simple.

  • I can’t recall so many teams completely imploding so early in the season.

Gmen, Broncos, Bengals and Bucs look like they straight quit.

    Ravens-v-Titans game. Ugly.
    Texans-v-Colts game. Ugly (backup QBs)

And we still got Bethea-v-Stanton on the afternoon game.

    Yuck.

    • willbest

remember when tonights game was supposed to be between two heavyweights

    • FresnoBear88

What happens when these glorified dumbasses worry more about kneeing than actually making a play!

      • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

I want everyone on the Bears to worry about kneeling, well at least at the end of games in Victory Formation!

        • SC Dave

I would preferthose of faith to be do the little kneeling thing in the enemy end zone.

      • madscout12

Totally. Add the Cowboys, Seahawks, and Vikings to that list. Completely jacked their playoff chances.

    • SC Dave

And 90% often blog wants to fire Fox

  • FresnoBear88

    Fuck ty Hilton

    • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

was he on your bench or were you playing against him?

      • FresnoBear88

My bench but dude hasn’t done shit lately… my fantasy team is fucked this year and I’m playing artoo!

        • Don’t worry.
You’ll start Hilton next week when Evans is suspended, and he’ll get you 1 point!

          • FresnoBear88

Yea last three weeks he’s equaled to four points but throws a 47 whopper today!

          • Yeah, I sense a “Doh!” award going your way, however…

            Jebus, Fres.

            8 POINTS!

I don’t think anyone in Da League has ever scored sub 15, even Waffle.

            You may make history!

          • FresnoBear88

Thanks bud! I get to drunk and my Friday nights are more interesting than most of any of you… either booze or making sweet love to my wife!

          • Bender McLugh

            giggity

  • madscout12

I hate the Cowboys, but it is fun as hell to listen to Tony Romo. He’s been a breath of fresh air in an otherwise boring year.

    • Yeah, he’s great.
I’m trying to figure out who complement him.

Jim Nantz is good I suppose.

But maybe a guy with more energy like Chucky.

      • madscout12

No. Chucky ruins it. Nantz is perfect because he doesn’t try to match Romo’s football intelligence and just concentrates on the PBP.

      • CanadaBear

Chucky and Romo both do color.

  • FresnoBear88

We can all sigh that we didn’t draft Watson now… unfortunate for the guy best of luck. Knee injuries don’t heal up normally.

    • I heard this crazy stat from a sport’s doc that a football player who suffers an ACL inj in college has like a 40% chance of suffering another one in the NFL (not necessarily the same knee either)

I’ll dig it up and post in the next thread.

    • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

Knee injuries are not the death knell like in the past. Players are coming back from them pretty good now days.

      • FresnoBear88

Name one? I blew my knee in high school and I still can’t stand right on it.

        • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

          AP and Frank Gore

          • FresnoBear88

Not the same… AP hobbles and Frank Gore don’t hit the hole anymore. Why both have been released or traded?

          • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

AP came back in like 6 months and ran for 1000+ yards.
Gore blew out his knee in college.

          • willbest

You realize AP almost broke the all time rushing record coming off his ACL injury?

          • FresnoBear88

There is only one rushing record and that’s Walters. Getting real fucking tired of you trolling all my comments.

          • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

Come on, Fres, calm down. He is making a valid point.

          • willbest

excuse me single season. AP had 2097 yards the season after his ACL, averaging 6+ yards per carry.

From what I’ve seen the worst injury for a QB is the throwing shoulder. That’s what Luck is dealing with.

      • And maybe Winston.

That was the worry with Brees and why the Chargers let him go.

Some docs thought his shoulder was shot.

        Oops.

I haven’t seen much of Cutler this year but it looked like that torn labrum had taken something off his fastball.

          • Yeah, the times I’ve watched him, the zip doesn’t seem there.

He used to be able just to flick and it would zoom.

Was it his SNF or MNF record that was awful. I thought one of them he was like 9-3 and the other one he was 3-9

This is a good article. Never understood why they play anthem at NFL games. It is even more silly playing national anthem at MLB games where 70% of players are from cuba and south american countries. Why should a domincan player give a fuck and stand for american anthem?

Greedy NFL fooled Teabaggers (just like GOP) by selling sugary anthem, big ass flag, flyover etc. Now Teabaggers are frothing at the mouth because they don’t understand patriotism does not mean blind alliegance or to never point out flaws..

MORRISSEY: NFL is paying the price for selling patriotism

You reap what you sow, and the NFL has sowed patriotism — or at least what it thought was a safe, plastic version of it — for years. Not the messy kind where citizens exercise their democratic rights and speak up.

The league likes patriotism as an ideal, not as a discussion. Now it has an ugly national debate on its hands.

  • Landry believes he’s the #1 WR. Shocker!

He may be an FA next offseason.

He looks bigger than I thought.

  • Hm. Wonder how this develops. Yes, Jimmy G could’ve been had for “free” but bidding in FA would drive his cap up.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Patriots traded
Jimmy Garoppolo because they “couldn’t come close to a contract
    extension.”

Garoppolo turned down a backup-plus offer from the Patriots
and was expected to walk in free agency. It suggests the 49ers overpaid
for a quarterback that would have been available in the offseason.
Despite reports Garoppolo may not play this year, it would be shocking
if the 49ers didn’t see what they have in him. Garoppolo is likely to
target the $18 million AAV Brock Osweiler got in 2016. – Roto

    • “Modestly” Huge Bears Penis

49ers don’t overpay or get fleeced. Lynch is too smart for that, he fleeces everyone else.

      • Dis Guy Trublinsky

That’s how he’s piling up all those wins. That guy kicks ass and takes names.

        Man those guys kill it.

    • BerwynBomber

I wonder too about trading for JimmyG when you’re staring 0-8 in the face and will have one of the top two picks in the draft. Does Lynch not like the 2018 class of college QBs? Or does SF still plan on drafting one?

JimmyG has looked good but a) he was playing under Belichick, and b) it was all of three or four games.

      Seems a little dicey …

Definitely a game for Cutty to get his stats going in the right direction. This OAK D looks horrible.

    • It’s all part of the plan

You’re joking about the D right?

  • It’s all part of the plan

Congrats to the NFL who found a way to impact yet another game with a total of 22 penalties for over 220yards, countless drives ended and at least 5 of those penalties will require an “I’m sorry” letter from the league.

    • madscout12

I notice those letters never grace the front page of NFL.com

      • It’s all part of the plan

If you need to laugh from a stressful day tomorrow find the penalty that they called on the Raiders backup tightend who was joking around and got a 15yd roughing penalty. I know what he was doing and it was hilarious …and then they threw a flag.

  • BerwynBomber

Best game Cutty’s had in years.

Not much of a believer in OAK. Their D is a sieve and not registering a single INT in nine games is historically pathetic. Then again, KC seems intent on duplicating MIN’s ’16 season so who knows in the wacky AFCW.

    • Def not a believer in the Chiefs.

They have to be very creative on O, and seemed to have forgotten to run it through Hunt.
Seems like every Sun they have to rely on 50+ yd plays from Hill or Kelce. That’s not sustainable.

Their D, esp their run D, is very suspect.

But that division is no longer as strong as ppl believed. Raiders underachieve.
Broncos don’t have a QB and look like they quit.
Chargers find ways to lose close games.

So by default, it’ll be the Chiefs, but I don’t see how they win in the playoffs

      • BerwynBomber

Yeah, it’s weird. In the offseason, preseason and beginning of the year, most fans thought it would be one of the best divisions in the NFL. Now it looks like crap.

    • madscout12

Dallas, when on, is a freaking buzzsaw. When they run effectively and can pass off it…and Dak runs…they’re tough to stop. That D is underratted with Old Sauce. They had some key injuries at the end of that game, and if the Zeke suspension is on, they may lose enough games to be held out of the playoffs. But if they’re in, nobody will want to take them at home.

KC will figure their shit out. 3 games of the Steelers remembering how to play football, a division game, and Dallas to 6-3 and they’ll be fine. They get the pleasure of beating the shit out of the Giants, Bills, and Jets coming out of their bye.

      • BerwynBomber

I’m still a believer in DAL too. Otherworldly O and yes an Old Sauce D that is, as you note, underrated. (A pretty damn good pass rush.) And let’s face it: they have should have beaten the Cheese if not for Rodgers’ wizard/magician shit.

Not sure about the Chiefs. I think they’ll still win the AFCW but they’re coming back down to earth and by season’s end will be inferior to teams like PIT, NE and even JAX if the latter can Gase-ize Bortles.

        • madscout12

I think the AFC is wide open. I think NE and PIT are as vulnerable as anybody, and possibly more. That D in NE is shit, but has been slowly climbing up to bad. PIT can be beat. Christ, I’d love to see both of them out in the first round.

          • BerwynBomber

Yeah, there is definitely no dominant team. Who knows? Maybe even a team like TEN could surprise.

          • madscout12

Yeah, just looked at the standings…5-3. Hell, the Jets…THE JETS…could unfuck themselves and grab a wildcard spot.

          • BerwynBomber

Bowles might turn out to be the goods. Think of the locker room headaches they jettisoned the last couple of years — BMarsh, Geno, Revis, Fitz, Richardson, etc.

And suddenly with less talent they’re actually a better team/more competitive.

          • TEN would have to show MUCH more.

They don’t really have an identity.

            “exotic smashmouth” WTF is that?

They have an aging HB and Henry behind him who IMO doesn’t really fit the read-option Mariotta (they need a more flexible HB like Hunt).

They can’t seem to beat their own division.

            Their D is suspect.

Unless they figure shit out, I don’t see how they make the playoffs (but hey, it’s the AFCS)

        • SC Dave

A lot of teams “should have” beaten Green Bay except for “Rodgers’ wizard/magician shit”, BB.

      • willbest

Rams/Seattle and Carolina/Saints are the WC. i don’t think dallas survives zeke suspension
