    Ha. First.

Look at that schedule. No pads. Ladies day. No pads. Kids day. Vaginismus. Colic.

Doesn’t exactly scream VIOLENCE … does it?

    • SC Dave

Ten practices with pads, two no pads, and a preseason game in 18 days. Should be enough to get some work done.

It does seem a little weird to practice between 11:15 and 1:25 though. Are they expecting the fans and media to bring picnic baskets?

      • willbest

I presume the practice time is more the 11 on 11 drills period with the rest of the time being dedicated to course work and conditioning. I suspect its done that way because the majority of their football games are played at noon.

      • BearDown100393

Bears in pads love heat. It was requested by Mitch Trubisky.

        • willbest

Mitch Trubisky isn’t going to be practicing at camp unless he signs his name to a sheet of paper next to Ryan Pace’s

          • BearDown100393

Mitch doesn’t mind the other guys being out in the noon heat in pads while he dickers with Pace.

You certainly continue to strive to prove your President to be your intellectual superior.

      Mitch would…….. ahhh never mind.

    • Lol The Russians are basically schooling the Trumps on how to collude. That’s what happens when our american education system sucks, can’t even collude properly.

“Her account appeared to contradict that of Trump Jr., who said on Sunday that the premise of the meeting was to discuss damaging information on Clinton that the lawyer was offering. When asked how Trump Jr. seemed to have the impression that she had information about the Democratic National Committee, Veselnitskaya responded:

“It is quite possible that maybe they were longing for such an information. They wanted it so badly that they could only hear the thought that they wanted.”

Now THAT’s how to collude, dumbfucks.

I followed the link to those stats; Bears were at 90+ in 2015 too, and ranked 28th in the league (where low is good, so 5th worst).

The Jets are tanking this year so that is understandable. I don’t know if I would place the Browns at 31 though. They have made a lot of moves to improve a lot of positions. Its still the Browns so you don’t necessarily have any faith that they managed to put it altogether. I am not that far down on the Bears to place us 30th. I still feel we should win 5 games, which should be good enough for high 20’s, though don’t ask me to select those 5 games.

      • We’ll beat the Lions and the Vikes, so there’s two.

Apparently, the 20 year drug patents on the E.D. drugs are about to expire.

“A close reading of the Times story about the June 9 meeting indicates that Paul Manafort is talking to investigators about previously undisclosed meetings between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

Manafort, the Times reports, “recently disclosed the meeting, and Donald Trump Jr.’s role in organizing it, to congressional investigators who had questions about his foreign
contacts, according to people familiar with the events.”

Manafort, a political consultant who recently acknowledged his consulting firm received $19 million from pro-Putin forces in Ukraine, ran Trump’s campaign from May to August 2016.

Last month, Nancy LeTourneau of the Washington Monthly made the case that Manafort has already turned state’s witness. The Times’ story lends credence to that theory.”

Do I need a ticket to attend training camp?
Yes. Getting tickets in advance is easy and FREE. Click here to sign up online for free tickets.

Tickets haven’t been needed in previous years, why do I need tickets now?
Having tickets for training camp allows the Bears to better forecast daily attendance to have a positive training camp experience for fans.

    What does a ticket provide?
Tickets provide admission to camp. All tickets are general admission, there is no assigned seating.

How do I sign up for free tickets?
You can get free tickets by signing up on a computer or mobile device.

Is there a limit on how many free tickets I can get?
    There is no limit.

    Do children need a ticket?
Yes, all attendees should have a free ticket. Parents/Guardians have the ability to select “child” tickets for children under the age of 18 during the sign up process.

Do I need tickets to attend more than one day of camp?
Yes, tickets are needed for all dates. To sign up for more than one day you will need to complete a separate order for each date you plan to attend.

Heard Scarbough turned in his papers tonight and declared himself an Independent. Weird to think of that guy as a moderate now given his role — back in the day — in Gingrich’s majority. But that is how extreme mainstream conservatism has become.

      • I find it incredible to believe that Reps who worship Tear Down this Wall Reagan can possibly NOT want to investigate possible Russian collusion (FBI has already stated they interfered w the election).
And then Hannity is trying to sell that collusion isn’t a ‘crime’.

Reagan must be rolling over in his grave, and Putin is charging 50 rubies to stick it into his corpse.

        • Scharfinator

Politics is about liking what is fashionable with your populace. It’s not about convictions and beliefs, not in the current US at least.

          • SC Dave

Another quote from the article I posted earlier in this sub-thread. The preceding context is how the “permanent campaign” state of US politics is heavily biased towards the status quo because it makes compromise and hence change so hard.

“Of course, the status quo can sometimes be defended against any of the available alternatives, but a general resistance to compromises implausibly presumes that the status quo is always more defensible than a compromise for change, or that it is always a mistake to yield something to one’s political adversaries even when they are willing to yield something to you. Privileging the status quo in this way is not consistent with either a principled liberal or a principled conservative stance toward politics.”

The problem is that the status quo works enormously well for the political class, who are its chief beneficiaries. This has been obvious for a long time, and so it has been long clear to me that nothing will change. Except of course in ways that further enrich the political elite at the expense of nearly everyone else.

It is also a factor in making the drivel of clowns on internet blogs so tedious and unworthy of serious attention.

      • SC Dave

By “extreme”, you mean not agreeing with the regressive left? Okay, so that was mere tit-for-tat. Perhaps something more thought-provoking?

        https://president.upenn.edu/meet-president/mindsets-political-compromise

        This line is pretty telling:

“The problem for compromise is that the campaign does not end the day after the election; in American democracy it has become in effect permanent.”

Social media has severely exacerbated this effect in my opinion. As have participants on various blogs and other internet forums.
