I have no idea what happens on Monday night. None.

I hope we use Howard a lot. I hope we blitz Wentz a lot. That is all.

    • CanadaBear

I hope the D harasses Wentz all night without blitzing. It would be nice to see if Howard has the goods.

  • Bobby Douglass

So, I get a lazy Sunday. The bad thing is I have a Back to School night tomorrow from 7-10 eastern time. I don’t like having to record the Navy and Orange.

    • Big Mike

Back to school nights are over rated. You want to meet the teachers, they’ll happily do it one on one.

      • willbest

        Maybe he is the teacher

        • Bobby Douglass

Not me, I only teach my boys about sports, girls, and how life isn’t always fair.

I would *love* to. My 15 year old has blonde tendencies tho, so I need to figure out expectations so I can ride his ass.

          • willbest

That only seems like a cause for concern if any of his teachers are blonde.

          • Big Mike

        • TBC

It’s basically like Elf on the Shelf, only Freddy Soft sits on your shoulder (and he’s invisible).

After playing the Seahawks tough I would kind of like to see Miami pull one out against a Jimmy G Gronkless Pats

  • BerwynBomber

Ten to one I get DET/TEN instead of PIT/CIN because I live in CHI area.

Might be time to finally break down and invest in an NFL package.

    • willbest

I think both Fox and CBS get a noon game. So both should in theory be on.

      • BerwynBomber

Both games I mentioned are being televised by CBS.

        • willbest

FWIW tvguide has CBS listed at PIT/CIn game, and Fox has Boys/Skins.

Also CBS apparently also got the afternoon game which is listed at Colts/Broncos.

          • BerwynBomber

We’ll see. Hope TVG is accurate. But seems the regional coverage rules usually kick in.

          • willbest

Well they used to say X or Y or Z but I think now that you can select your service provider in this case Chicago area broadcast, they just list one game.

          • BerwynBomber

Btw, boys/skins is a bit of a dog. Definitely a case of a game living on its past merits than the current quality of the two teams.

          • willbest

I didn’t see the Skins game, though the game summary wasn’t pretty. I felt the Giants looked better than expected. Victor Cruz looked like he is 90% of his former self. Between him ODB and their rookie they are going to have a potent passing attack for Eli. Defense is going to need a better test than a Dak lead Boys to determine if they are legit this year.

          • BerwynBomber

Ah hah, TVG was right. Pleasantly surprised. My ten-to-one bet would have paid big.

    • Big Mike

I’ve got my choice of of any game. Some great matchups. Skins/Cowboys (checking in on week 3 opponent), Chiefs/Texans (are the texans for real, or are we light..) Dolphins/ Patriots, Seahawks/Rams go in the interesting pile.

      • BerwynBomber

Yeah, I need to breakdown next year and go with a package. Part of the reason I have not (other than saving a buck) is that I get all 16 Bears games via being a local

But there are non-Bears parts of every season where I regret not getting to choose what to watch.

        • willbest

I don’t have cable/dish, so it is just too much money for the dozen or so games that I miss that aren’t national games. Plus then I have to find the time to watch them. I guess if I had two games on side by side that might work.

          • BerwynBomber

            So you’re a cord-cutter? Interesting …

  • BerwynBomber

God forbid I defend the Cheese on this one but I wonder (on a couple of different levels) what sort of precedent this sets around the league. Every team in the league could run and bellyache to the league on Mon or Tues morning as JAX did. Moreover, other than reviewable calls it seems a bit petty/crybaby. On top of that over-officiating PI and holding calls will lead to flag-littered games decided as much by officials as by the two teams competing.

Anyway, interesting admission by the league.

      • BerwynBomber

        A) we don’t draft QBs, B) we might not have coaching staffs designed to develop young QBs.

      • willbest

You spoke too soon it looks like the browns are going to need 16 qbs to make it through the season

  • BearDown100393

    Jimmy G is down.

    • PaceBot 2000

According to Irish one must simply stockpile the roster with starting qb’s and convince them just to be the backups then you’re all set if someone goes down while allocating 26mil a year in cap space for the position.

      • Big Mike

My theory, is you start a new cycle of offensive philosophy. Draft lineman until you have 5 near all pro guys. Most QBs will do fine. I hate the idea of being one injury away from chucking in the whole season. Right now for the Bears not that big a deal because team is rebuilding. But imagine getting all the way rebuilt, expecting to compete for SB. and QB slops in the tub or some shit

        • Irish Sweetness

That was my thinking. Cutty was pre-New Cutty. He could have been shipped for a 1st and a 2nd. McCown and Fitzy are not rookies. You build the line and look for your stud. If you lose, you move closer to picking him.

          • PaceBot 2000

You don’t build while having a qb that would die behind a rebuild.
He’s saying you can win with solid guys if you have really solid pieces around him.
Uh, except that besides Wilson and Seattle it’s never been proven. So who fucking knows. All we know is that D wins consistently.

        • PaceBot 2000

Agreed. Denver won the super bowl and Peyton of 2015 was a fucking laughingstock.
Just build a fucking strong and balanced team. Angelo and emery did not do that.

          • BearDown100393

            Manning2015 or Dilfer?

        • willbest

But then you need to find 6-7 great players rather than 1

          • Big Mike

Good to great lineman happen all the time. There are 5 good to great QBs Iin the entire league. Also if one gos down, you’re not done

          • PaceBot 2000

I agree except no one has proven that a team could win like that with a backup. I know it happened several times in 100yrs but that’s why we still talk about them today.
When your top gun goes down your seasonal hopes go down with them for the most part.

You could still win games with a backup on a solid balanced team but it would have to have some insane aspect about it like an All Pro D

  • Big Mike

Browns … Ravens. McCown. 20-9 Browns. What?

    • Irish Sweetness

It was 20-2. McCown and Crowell.

  • willbest

Problem is they’re winning and Stafford looks like he playing very well without CJ. Not good.

      • MB30SD

meh, they’ll lion themselves at some point.

        • Johnnywad

Thought that last week, but they drove themselves into field goal range to win with less than a minute left. That’s after giving up a lead with a couple minutes left. Doesn’t feel like the same old Lions right now.

          • MB30SD

never does until it does my maings.

    • willbest

They haven’t unleashed Alex Smith yet

      • Irish Sweetness

He used to be THE worst QB in the league or do I mis-remember?

        • willbest

He had a bad rookie outing, but he bounced back. He is generally a high floor, low ceiling guy, but last week he had to throw it out because they were down like 20 points to the chargers and they came back to win it.

        • BerwynBomber

Cutty-level, generally, but different skill set.

    • Irish Sweetness

Yeah. Good running game. Missing some guys on D right now, but solid. Kelce is great.

        • BearDown100393

So what happens when Brissett goes down?

          • BerwynBomber

            Edelman

          • PaceBot 2000

If Edelman went in a drove them for a score then the whole Cassel theory would fuck Jimmy G and Jacoby out of millions.
And mcdouchienls would go down as one of the greatest oc’s of all time.

          • BerwynBomber

I gotta imagine Cassell already gives some teams pause. Or even McCown. Or best of all Matt Flynn, whose entire payday was basically based on one game.

SEA was damn fortunate to hit on Wilson in the draft.

  • Scharfinator

      • willbest

Hopkins still went for 120ish and a TD. So it just looks like they have a raw speedster that defenses have problems with, and will open up opportunities for their top 5 WR

        Fuller definitely looked good.

  • BerwynBomber

    The Lions about to Lions?

  • willbest

    Cowboys got caught celebrating

  • BerwynBomber

G-Men 2-0. Questionable use of timeouts by Payton.

  • BerwynBomber

Damn, how did that Cincy play NOT get overruled?

    • AlbertInTucson

What part of “His knee was down before the ball came loose” wasn’t obvious to Pete Morelli?

Yet another example of why the field referee should NOT be making replay calls. Morelli just didn’t feel like overturning the call of one of his crew mates.

Hochuli is FAMOUS for that crap.

      • willbest

I thought all replays went through New York, or is that only in the playoffs?

        • AlbertInTucson

          That’s the NHL.

Part of the HUGE problem with NFL reply is that they have the game referee do the review which is

          1) A complete waste of time while he walks to and from the hooded monitor and

          2) A clear conflict of interest in having to overrule either himself or his crew.

          My replay would be this:

          1) The replay official has the final word.

          2) He has :30 to look at and make a decision.

          3) He can only look at in real time, just like the guys on the field did.
          No slo-mo, no mcroscopic views.

It’s either obviously wrong or the call stands..

That fumble call was obviously wrong from the get go.

    • SC Dave

Did it go in favor of Pittsburgh? If so, you have your answer right there.

  • BerwynBomber

SF, under Chip Kelly, seems competitive, if nothing else.

    • willbest

That was us last year. We will see what they manage next year.

  • BerwynBomber

Even Belichick may not be able to dress up Jacoby Brissett.

Trade Hoyer and elevate our PS guy?

    • willbest

What value would that be to the Pats? The new QB isn’t going to learn the offense in 5 days, and Brady is back in 13.

      • BerwynBomber

Garrappolo could be out for a looooonnngg time. Even when Brady returns they may desire a better back-up than Brissett.

Plus, didn’t Hoyer begin his career with the Pats?

        • willbest

They said shoulder injury, is it a broken bone? I guess maybe, but given Marty has already more than provided for what they lost in trade, my guess is Pace would probably give him up for a bag of skittles and a conditional 7th rounder assuming Hoyer makes the pro-bowl.

        • Irish Sweetness

Kap and his salary to the Pats.

          • willbest

9ers already paid Kaep 12 of his 17 million. The risk on him is if he gets injured you owe him another 17 odd million.

ed. sorry I am wrong, I was misremembering it. Its just guaranteed, it hasn’t been paid out yet. He is owed 10.4 million still. So no way Darth Hoddie makes that trade.

          • BerwynBomber

Pats ain’t that stupid to take Kaep.

Plus, for Kaep you basically have to change your entire offensive scheme

          • SC Dave

That and Belichik would bench his ass for the kneeling thing.

  • Irish Sweetness

It’s only just started but wow, the Hawks OL is a bullshit mess. And J’Marcus Webb is in the thick of it.

    • Huge Bears Penis

J’Marcus Webb has to be good he is HUGE. 6’7 340lb. Never mind. Sorry size of guys only applies to PSH!!

      • MB30SD

        And porn

  • MB30SD

fine, I’ll upvote myself. Fuck the lions!

    • Huge Bears Penis

      so needy….

      • MB30SD

        that time of the month

  • willbest

Luck looks like an 18 mil QB being paid 25 mil

  • MB30SD

fuck, chargers better implode again, because they’re looking STROOOONG… and I don’t want to wear a dress.

    • Sauron’s right eyeball

Then stop eating so much chicken.

      • MB30SD

        Kale

  • willbest

Pats play Thursday. I don’t ordinary make it a point to catch those games unless the bears play but this week I will make an exception

  • AlbertInTucson

Seen the replay on Garappolo’s injury a couple times now.

One NEVER wants to see one’s QB land land THAT.

  • willbest

I am watching the colts running game and am trying to figure out why Senorise Perry isn’t starting for them

  • TBC

“Jags preseason was brilliant. Oh wait…”

    Uhh what?

The Jags went 1-3 in the preseason

    http://deadspin.com/tag/blake-bortles

    • Sauron’s right eyeball

      And your point is………?

      • TBC

My point is that he jaguars’ preseason was not brilliant.

        • Sauron’s right eyeball

Aaah…I did not realize you were channeling Jeff. Carry on…

  • Sauron’s right eyeball

6 weeks from now, 1/2 the teams that look decent will suck and 1/2 the teams that suck now will look decent.

    • willbest

      That is probably true.

    • Freddy G.P. Soft

Texans shut the Chiefs right down. They looked worse than the Bears did.

  • Scharfinator

    Bradford looking messy

    • BerwynBomber

But MIN D looking badass …

      • Scharfinator

Yeah they had what, two TD’s last week?

        • willbest

Was about to have one there if Cobb hadn’t performed a miracle

  • willbest

    Of course its pi

    • willbest

More pi!! Out of the pocket but whatever, the pocket is as big or as small as Rodgers needs it to be.

  • willbest

Diggs can play. Peterson is done

  • BearDown100393

State Farm commercial implies Matthews and Rodgers live together.

    • willbest

      Nttawwt

  • RenoBear

God I laugh at the first and fourth round picks for Bradford. Just fuckin brutal

    • willbest

Wonder what the record is on draft chart value cost for a single player

      • RenoBear

No kidding. I mean Bradford hasn’t even established that he can be an average QB. I get that Minn thinks they’ve hit on a ton of picks lately and their time to win is now… But fuck man… BRADFORD??? C’mon guys… I can’t believe the GM signed off on that or came up with the idea

        • willbest

He has something going now that they have abandoned AP

  • BearDown100393
  • Sauron’s right eyeball

Bradford is proof the NFL doesn’t care about a quality product. They’re only interested in quantity.

  • willbest

Rodgers is channeling his inner Andrew luck

  • willbest

    Man Vikings D is scary

  • PaceBot 2000

Of course Minny didn’t recover that. If that was the Bears that would have been returned for a TD.

    • willbest

Jay doesn’t take that hit because nobody bothers to spy him

  • willbest

Silly crowd only Rodgers gets pi in that situation

  • MB30SD

Early, but looks like specials has lost a step or two. Looks slow.

    Diggs is the real deal

    • RenoBear

Yeah man. Peterson looks downright average and flow. Zero burst even in open space

  • RenoBear

After all these years, Peterson finally looks slow. I think he’s done this season

  • Sauron’s right eyeball

I still believe that the game of football can only improve when a defense doesn’t have one hand tied behind their back. I hate the new pass happy rules.

    • willbest

The holding was bullshit, Rodgers was out of the pocket so the DBs are free to bump and push again.

  • BearDown100393

    Bradford’s got a hand.

    Pierre-Paul style.

  • BerwynBomber

MIN looking like the superior team. But for the early push by GB’s D-line, Vikings are controlling this game.

Their D is the real deal.

    • Freddy G.P. Soft

The O line sucks for Minn. No running game, no scoring.

  • MB30SD

Hey colinsworth, why don’t you just go down to the sideline and blow Rodgers right there… might as well

    • BearDown100393

Also working overtime on selling the Bradshaw deal.

    • Johnnywad

      Lions lioned

      • MB30SD

knew they would maings. they always do… I don’t feel smart and I don’t see dead peoples.

        They just suck… predictably.

      • Cormonster

The Lions tried to choke last week’s game away by missing a late extra point. Lucky for them Pagano called a time out on their final drive to give the Lions enough time to get the late FG.

  • BerwynBomber

Bradford looks decent. IF he holds up for the season — a big IF in his case — MIN could be the NFCN team to beat.

  • BearDown100393

    Cut the center!

    • AlbertInTucson

If Cutler admonished his center, or anybody else for that matter, the way Rodgers ripped HIS cent era new one for not snapping the ball when the Vikes jumped, all you’d hear is what a turd Cutler is.

BTW, Rodgers doesn’t look any less grumpy when he’s sitting there on the sideline, contemplating a lousy first half and watching the other team drive for score.

  • bigrobstunner

Green Bays left guard seems to be holding up…. Thanks for Sitton!!

  • SC Dave

Not watching, but based on the halftime box score, Bradford outplaying Rodgers by a lot. In fact, were the penalties not so lop-sided (in a Green Bay game, really?) the Vikings would be winning by more.

    • BerwynBomber

The PI call was legit. The D-holding was questionable.

Biggest reason for the close score is that MIN hasn’t cashed in on their two FFs and GB did on their blocked punt.

      • SC Dave

Ah… But like I said, I’m not watching.

  • BerwynBomber

Diggs is the real deal. GB’s receivers always get a lot of press, but I’d take Diggs and Alshon over anyone else in the division.

Jordy Nelson looks slow. As does AP.

    • Johnnywad

This Packers team looks just about like you called it pre season.

  • Freddy G.P. Soft

Vikes line reminds me of Chicago’s line. Not big and strong enough to open running lanes, but tough enough to set up pass blocking long enough for the NFL new rules on light chucking at scrimmage to allow passes to be completed; mainly because it’s almost impossible to stop the short passing game in today’s NFL when you have decent speedsters.

  • MB30SD

    that was more like ‘tackling’

  • MB30SD

    stop sucking dick collinsworth!

  • MB30SD

  • PaceBot 2000

You simply can’t make these narratives up.

  • MB30SD

    BOOM!

  • MB30SD

can someone on the vikings defense PLEASE fucking kill rodgers

    • SC Dave

Do the Packers play NE this year? 🙂

      • MB30SD

        no idea, why dave?

        • SC Dave

Only guy I’ve known that took out Rodgers plays for them.

          • MB30SD

            oh, right.

I was thinking Kiko Alonso. I was like, wrong team maings.

  • Johnnywad

McCarthy showing his dumb fuck. Shine’s coming off the shit rose.

  • PaceBot 2000

If I hear anyone talk about Cutler not “protecting the ball” like other QB’s this year, I’m going to make a highlight reel of every single Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers fumble miraculously not recovered by the other team….and I’m going to play it on a loop while I fucking torture your ballsack until you die in your basement

    • MB30SD

torture your ballsack until you die in your basement

Which is the name of my new punk/garage funk garage band

      • SC Dave

You have a lot of bands, don’t you?

        • MB30SD

          yes.

      • MB30SD

        the kids is a stud.

Bradford looking good for his second game on a new team. We’ll just have to wait till he pulls/breaks/ruptures something.

        • Freddy G.P. Soft

Can we swap Eddie Royal for Diggs?

          • MB30SD

            We should try. Straight up

  • MB30SD

    AP gots an ankle

    • PaceBot 2000

That shit looked broken. Unless he has muscles on his front shin that just makes it look like a compound fracture.

      • MB30SD

        he’s a fucking super human/alien crossbreed…. prolly just be a light bruise

        • Freddy G.P. Soft

  • SC Dave

It’s really boring on the radio when plays stops this long.

    • MB30SD

      AP down! MAN DOWN!

  • MB30SD

    This game is awesome!!!

More please!! Keep dropping like flies motherfuckers! Rodgers, diggs, cobb, bradford next please.

    • Freddy G.P. Soft

Is it time for Vadgers to break something?

      • MB30SD

        jess pleece.

    • MB30SD

not dead… just out for the rest of the year. I’m not THAT bad.

  • MB30SD

    Diggs looks 12

  • madscout12

Didnt “removing the helmet in the field of play” used to be illegal? Did they cancel it so that D-bag Roid Barbie could Barbie during timeouts?

  • MB30SD

    Damn, AP done

  • madscout12

Diggs could kill us this year.

  • PaceBot 2000

Ap has to have serious structural damage. That was bad…..then the guys whole body landed on it from behind when it was planted.

    • Freddy G.P. Soft

I cursed him with my FF team name. I have that kind of power.

      • PaceBot 2000

Saying it could be a knee

        • Freddy G.P. Soft

          it looks knee not ankle

        • MB30SD

          he’s got a knee

    • willbest

This is best for the team

      • MB30SD

        our team

        • willbest

Not for us. AP has been awful

          • MB30SD

if you could choose to have him in or out, I’ll take out thanks.

          • willbest

31 carries for 50 yards is his season.

          • MB30SD

he was still AP maings. you’re just being stubborn.

          • madscout12

Imagine what he’ll look like when he’s 40

      Not Kevin White?

    • Johnnywad

      No.

  • SC Dave

  • SC Dave

    Right knee… out for game

  • madscout12

Bull. That was OPI if anything.

    • SC Dave

      Typical GB stuff

      • MB30SD

        fucking brutal.

That said, they need to take waynes out… dude is mindfucked right now.

  • PaceBot 2000

Oh my God, I can’t wait for alshon to go up against these Minny corners.

    • willbest

I bet their dline can’t wait to get ahold of our oline

      • Freddy G.P. Soft

        Nelson just pulled an Alshon

      • PaceBot 2000

Dude Texans way scarier than that D line. Wait and see what happens.

        • MB30SD

          agree

  • SC Dave

Fuck it… I’m off to bed. Good night, gents.

      • MB30SD

no way that guy is starting next week. NO. WAY.

      • MB30SD

‘excessive violence perpetrated on a virginal Rodgers’

  • MB30SD

I feel dirty rooting for one of these fucks, but my god I hate the packers.

    …and I’m dating a girl from Minny who’s a vikings fan, so.

    • Freddy G.P. Soft

… you want to put it through the uprights.

      Unlike the Vikes kicker.

      • MB30SD

The prettiest sight is vadgers lying dejected on the grid iron.

    • MB30SD

no, lying broken on the GI would be prettiest

  • MB30SD

    I have a question… why purple?!? Vikings… purple?

We were the vikings in HS. We were black, red, and white. We had badass unis.

    http://matchbin-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/public/sites/351/assets/LJ_football_1___Balch_photo_2_.jpg

    Purple… really?!?

  • PaceBot 2000

So who’s going offsides for the obligatory Rodgers free play bomb? And for extra points, will Trae Wayne’s be the one to interfere with Jordy Nelson?

    • MB30SD

      yes.

  • MB30SD

dude, can they fucking get one of those please?!

    • Huge Bears Penis

      there you go.

      • MB30SD

      • madscout12

He’s done everyone mocks Cutler for, which I in turn am mocking

        • MB30SD

          • madscout12

            DYAC. And they blow it!!!

    • willbest

Nah vikes will go 3 and out and vagers will pull it out of his ass

  • MB30SD

    hee hee

  • willbest

Holy shit a penalty to lose the game for gb

  • MB30SD

    awesome. fuck you rodgers.

  • MB30SD

excellent. So starts the decline of the packers

    • PaceBot 2000

      Jessssss

      • MB30SD

might not be us yet, but doesn’t matter.

        • PaceBot 2000

Erra body gotta have a dream

    • BerwynBomber

Agreed. They blew it in 2014. That was their best chance for a second ring during the Rodgers years. I don’t see it happening in the future.

    • RenoBear

This. The fag facade of Vadgers starts cracking. NTTAWWT. He sure does look like quite a bitch when he loses. Media will have fun trying to hide that side of him

  • RenoBear

Heehee!!! Fuckin eat it Vadgers! Guess I spoke a little too soon on Bradford. Put an all pro defense behind him and he’s good to go apparently. The beloved have a chance this year (I know, I know, I’m a homer) Fuck the Eagles tomorrow night! Wentz DEAD

  • BerwynBomber

Impressive job by MIN. Completely flustered Rodgers all night.

Bradford played fantastic, which they will need, given the AP injury.

  • BerwynBomber

So much for the Cheese sitting atop those power rankings, eh?

That was always a joke. MIN is the class of our division. Zimmer’s the goods.

    • MB30SD

let’s not start handing out blow jobs just yet BB. Let’s see how we do against both

      • BerwynBomber

I just think Zimmer’s a helluva coach. Hey, we can still win the thing. I just think MIN will be the team to beat. IF Bradford can stay healthy (no guarantee).

        • MB30SD

          agree on all points.

  • PaceBot 2000

Haha, Michelle Montoya talking shit to Diggs.

    • MB30SD

      she’s…… turrible.

  • AlbertInTucson

    Pyrrhic Victory for Minniehaha?

Asiata is not exactly chopped liver but, without the threat of AP in there, Diggs will now become the center of attention for opponents.

    • BerwynBomber

True, but Kyle Rudolph isn’t bad and they’re designed to win close, defensive struggles.

Wonder who else is on their RB depth chart.

      • AlbertInTucson

IF, as many here seemed to opine, AP HAS lost a step, maybe this falls into the “blessing in disguise” category for them.

        • BerwynBomber

I was wondering the same thing.

Tip of the hat to Irish, who thought Bradford would be an upgrade over Bridgewater. Certainly throws a better ball. But durability is always a question with him.

          • AlbertInTucson

Chris Chandler always looked good, right up until his next trip the IR.

          • MB30SD

            yep

          • BerwynBomber

            The Chandalelier!!!

          • AlbertInTucson

As brittle as Chandler seemed, he played from 1988 to 2004!

          • willbest

I was also in that category saying that they were a better team with Bradford, though I conditioned it on AP not being sucky.

          • MB30SD

he won’t make it 4 games

          • willbest

            He is not Joey Bosa

          • MB30SD

we don’t even know that Joey Bosa is Joey Bosa yet.

          • willbest

I know he can’t make it 4 games without injury!

          • MB30SD

            true

          • AlbertInTucson

Hell , he couldn’t make ONE!

    • willbest

People were going to do that anyway considering AP was averaging about 1.2 yards a carry and Diggs is averaging 150 yards a game from below average QBs

  • MB30SD

holy shit! Tony Dungy looks more and more like a elf? troll? Magway? every year.

  • willbest

How is the Raiders D so bad.

    • MB30SD

I thought they were going to be beastly… same with Jags.

Shows you what the fuck I know. yeeesh.

    • AlbertInTucson

A 40-Burger for Raider Nation to digest.

At home in “The Black Hole”.

      A tad surprising.

  • BerwynBomber

Btw, that was a horrible decision/pass by Rodgers on the INT. Credit Waynes for making the play, but there was a lot of air under that ball.

  • MB30SD

GP, you watching the ramsey thing?

    • beninnorcal

Do tell, what’s the ramsey thing?

      • MB30SD

on tv, re-investigating the whole thing

        • beninnorcal

Ah, what network is airing that? I was planning on dvr’ing it

          • MB30SD

seems to be on a local network. KFMB?

          • beninnorcal

Thanks, MB, looks like the wife already set it. Cheers, sir

          • MB30SD

            indeed my maings.

it’ll be a circle jerk without any conclusions… but interesting nonetheless.

          • MB30SD

            fucking sad man. smfh.

  • beninnorcal

Has Cheesy come to take his lumps? Or will he disappear for a few weeks and crawl back when the Fudge eek out a win?

    • AlbertInTucson

      Please, don’t encourage trolls.

      • beninnorcal

Just giving credit where it’s due, Al.
Pretty sure it’s much harder for him to ‘troll’ on an evening such as this.

  • BerwynBomber

    Interesting stat on Rodgers …

Aaron Rodgers’ streak of games without a 100-pass rating has reached 14, including playoffs. He finished at 70.7 in Sunday night’s 17-14 loss at Minnesota. This from the quarterback who came into the season as the NFL’s career passer rating leader at 104.1.

    • BerwynBomber

P.S. I am of the mind that Rodgers is slipping. I would give him a bit of pass on his post-season games last year. (He played well against WAS and considering what he had to work with and was up against in ARI he played okay.)

But he has looked very mortal the last 12+ months. My theory has always been that he would not age as well as Brady or Peyton simply because his game is more reliant on athleticism than theirs is/was. Could be we are starting to see the point in his career where he goes from great to very good/good. And at times he looked very average tonight.

  • AlbertInTucson

OK, boys and girls. This weeks preliminaries are over.

The Bears need to get off the schneid!

    • BerwynBomber

If we can’t beat a rookie QB and rookie HC at home, the clock should begin on the Fox regime.

      • AlbertInTucson

        Can’t say I disagree.

        • BerwynBomber

Then again we didn’t manage to lose to Jim Tomsula and Blaine Gabbert at Soldier last year, so there is that.

          • AlbertInTucson

On a Gabbert 40 yard draw and 80 yard TD pass sandwiched around a horrific placekick.

  • AlbertInTucson

No surprise. AP left the building on crutches.
