    Konichiwawa bitches.

  • Viva

    Bears 27

    Jets 17

    • Donnnnn’t Caaaaarrrrrre!

if the protection and scheme keep Jay clean the Bears score 30+

  • Viva

    Well done, Rev.

    • MB30SD

      • Viva

        I give that 4 stars.

        • MB30SD

I’m fuckin’ in, and you’re fuckin’ out! Now get the fuck outta my chair!

    • AlbertInTucson

I strongly disagree. Frankly, i thought he came off as being Ssanctimonious while grousing about sanctimony. Further is comment posted on it’s own..

  • bearsfantillend

agree mostly, Rev. But i don’t get people expecting Roger Goodell just resigning from the job. He gets paid $40+ million each year. You would have drag me kicking and screaming away from that job. The owners would have to come down and tell me I was fired before i gave up that job. Then i would expect the owners to give me one hell of a sweet severance package for me to keep my mouth shut about all the crazy behind the scenes shit that’s going on.

    • CanadaBear

I’m guessing he has a contract with a golden parachute worth 9 figures.

  • Viva

Game day in the Viva household. Soccer @ 1030. Bailey girl got her jersey yesterday….#34. Just like sweetness.

She is Daddy’s girl. Love it!

    • MB30SD

      Awesome!!

  • Barb UMihai Mar

Godel is going nowhere. That was the point of that press conference.

    • burntorangenavyblue

He might as well have said “Sorry, not sorry!”

  • Cormonster

Got a big wedding today as two of my closest friends are getting married, hippy style. It’s gonna be an awesome bash. Pig roast after the wedding, followed by 3 bands and about 8-9 hours of live music. First band starts around 5 and the last band starts at 11:30 until 2:30am. It’s gonna be like a mini festival, but just for friends and family. All three bands are awesome, with the best sound guy in the region coordinating the show. Party on!

Side note. A fundraiser is going on at the same location with 5 former Packer players as guests. Waffle, if I get enough Jameson in me later, maybe I’ll pick a fight with one of them – probably Chris Jacke. If I want to get really bold, I’ll hit some vodka and try and take out Gilbert Brown.

    • CanadaBear

Awesome Cor! Have a great time and have a couple for me. Camping close by sounds like a good idea. Pretty sure you could whip up on Jacke. Better be careful with Gilbert. He might smother you and eat you later.

      • Cormonster

Yep, the bride and groom reserved camping spots for many of us. The reception is adjacent to a campground

        • Trac

Camping? That would be the fun part.

    • Donnnnn’t Caaaaarrrrrre!

that sounds like a badass wedding. Have fun and stay safe.

    • Paul Stuart

wow. very nice. officially the best sounding wedding ever…and I’ve been to one with a really good Charlie Chaplin impersonator.

      • MB30SD

        Charlie Chaplin impersonator.

        Uuuhhhhhhggggggggg…..

        • johnnywad

          Yeah fuck that

          • MB30SD

That’s only about one level up from a mime.

Who in thee fuck has a mime at their wedding paul?!?!

          • Paul Stuart

yup, can see I’ll have to stick to a strictly casual and deeply inconsequential frat chat with a crass cunt like you.

          • MB30SD

that hurts paul. i have feelings too… you bloody tosser!

    • SC Dave

      Enjoy, Corm

  • Donnnnn’t Caaaaarrrrrre!

I missed the NFL: A Football Life Brandon Marshall but there are multiple segments of it on the NFL.com website. It was inspiring.

    • beninnorcal

Just watched it earlier today, was pretty entertaining and inspiring indeed. One thing you learn: Brandon Marshall loves him some Jay Cutler, alot.

      • Donnnnn’t Caaaaarrrrrre!

he also loves his hot wife Michi who if i didn’t mention it before is smart and hot which is a nice combo. Well done Brandon.

        • MB30SD

          If not a lil’ stabby

  • EnderWiggin

    McClellin out. Practice injury.

    • johnnywad

OH GOD!!!!!!! Oh wait……. Never mind.

Ratliffe is out, which really sucks. However, Bostic will move to Shae’s “spot”. Ferguson and Sutton will each take more snaps with Rat out. And Fuller will start at CB this week. Let’s assume that these guys all contribute and play reasonably well, (and no better QB to begin this little experiment on). If that indeed happens, we’ll have a pretty good idea of what the Bears will be this year and maybe we can begin to feel a bit better about Phil drafting defense.

      • AlbertInTucson

Damn. Jermiah was having a NOTICABLE impact on the inside.

      • MB30SD

        Hee hee

    • Shady

This is the second year in a row he’s injured himself practicing.

    • GPLDAN

Broke his hand sweeping the coop.

  • Donnnnn’t Caaaaarrrrrre!

Not cool about Ratliff and Shea being out. Both had impacts on last weeks game. Time for the rooks to step up on D line.

    Sincerely,
    Geno Smith Dead

    • Trac

This is a problem? Have no fear Yonny, Cutty WILL man up.

  • Fuck. The rat is out? Damn. Cj1k and ivory are the only ones we need to really worry about (maybe te). Let’s see what ego and Sutton are made of

    • johnnywad

This will be a great game to test those guys. Let them focus on the run. The QB isn’t gonna beat you.

  • GPLDAN

Conte to start. What is the over/under for the number of plays before a shoulder explodes?

    • MB30SD

I give him 2 series… it should take that long for him to actually make a solid 1:1 tackle

      • Trac

Aren’t we in a charitable mood tonight!

        • MB30SD

yeah, I was going to go with 1, but fuck it… I’ll give him the benny of the doubt.

          BOOM!

      • Shoulders don’t tend to heal when one is continually ramming them into angry walls

        • Trac

Your team ain’t doing so well this week. McCown got Nada and Johhny Shithead is up to bat. What say you?

  • Trac

“I got it wrong but I will do whatever is necessary to get it right”. Bears over Jets.

    Dodgy Trac

  • Trac

    Trac’s week 3 Homer picks.

Redskins over Iggles: A win for Cousins would be impressive.
Browns over Ravens: This is the week all the drama gets the better of Baltimore.
Seahawks over Bronco’s: It ain’t gonna be pretty.

  • MB30SD

    willya just taste the soup!

  • MB30SD

    30 – 12 -2

Sure you want some of this nuggets?!

“Not now chief… I’m in the fuckin’ zone!”

  • MB30SD
  • MB30SD

so at this point, I’m pretty sure winston is bipolar and needs some medical (and maybe BMarsh) intervention. This shit isn’t normal.

    http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:11559959

This has gone beyond just “asshole”

    • AlbertInTucson

He shouldn’t have been allowed on the sidlines and piss on ABC for giving him all that face time.

    • AlbertInTucson

Bi-Polar? That’s unfair to REAL people who are bi-polar.

I think Jameis is just another talented but spoiled & coddled kid.

      • MB30SD

i thought so too al, but there’s something not right with him.

        • AlbertInTucson

You still may be right, MB, but I think his Daddy, who blamed FSU for the “Crab Legs” incident, has to get a lot of credit for the creature that’s been created.

          • bearsfantillend

maybe his parents didn’t use a switch on him enough.

          • AlbertInTucson

Uh-oh. The Thought Police will be knocking down your front door any moment now.

    • Trac

I’m not a selfish person? Denial ain’t a river in Egypt either. That clip kinda reminded me of the alcoholic that says he doesn’t have a drinking problem. This is prolly the first time anyone has ever said no to him.

  • MB30SD

For those who haven’t seen it yet: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8548133

is this the one he was pissed about? I don’t get it. this is the wrong one right?

  • AlbertInTucson

    Sigh.

Another “Rant” thinly disguised as an excuse to see how much profanity one can jam into 4 minutes or so.

For those of you not keeping score at home, THIS week’s score was 1 “Fuck”, or some permutation thereof, every 8.9 seconds.

If you have a point, Rev, feel free to make it.

The profanity doesn’t make your point any stronger/righter/better.

    • CanadaBear

Unless all the regs are raving about a brilliant rant, I usually skip it. I’ve had enough people yell at me in my lifetime.

  • bearsfantillend

Cutler’s stats on Monday nights with Chicago
    record: 6-1
    completion: 130/211
    passing yards 1570
    TDs:14
    INTs: 3
    QB rating: 100.6

    • Barb UMihai Mar

      1. impressive.
      2. just ignore the last primetime game at Meadowlands

      • Trac

        The avatar or Cuttys perfomance?

        • Barb UMihai Mar

what performance ? he was sacked every time he went back for a pass.
when his brain started bleeding Lovie was forced to sent him back to he bus.

      • bearsfantillend

Cutler has never played a Monday Night game in the Meadowlands as a Bear. If you referring to the game where the Giants sacked Cutty 10 times in the first half that was a Sunday Night game.

  • Barb UMihai Mar

Jeff says he’d like the Bears selecting Vic Beasely. I have no clue who that is, but no way in hell that happens. First of all, if he’s that good to begin with, he’ll never last until the 32nd pick, plus, the Bears should draft middle of the Defense next time around.DT, ILB, S or again CB if Tillman retires.
4th string pass rusher —> the last thing they need.

    • Trac

It’s human after all? Hee hee.
